Hello,
According to recommendations (http://e2e.ti.com/support/power_management/battery_management/f/179/p/166934/610955.aspx#610955) read in this forum, we have made a BQ25504 electronic design, tying pins 9 and 10 to Vstore (because we don't need VBAT_OK output).
We have confirmed that the battery stops discharging when Vstore reaches VBAT_UV.
The problem appears when we charge the battery up to the limit OV. In this case, we have checked that input regulation doesn't work conveniently; and as a result, Vstore exceeds VBAT_OV value and the voltage of the battery increases without control.
Instead, if we leave pins 9 and 10 open, voltage regulation works fine and Vstore never exceeds VBAT_OV. We have also checked these two behaviours using the BQ25504 EVM.
Did any one checked this behaviour?
Thanks very much.
